Introduction to Criminal Law is an introduction to legal concepts,
principles and procedures of the German criminal law.
The course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the structure of the German criminal justice system including the role of the court;
the basic principles of German law;
the role of lawyers,
law enforcement and other legal professionals;
and case study. The course will integrate reading,
writing and media into lessons.
Students are also expected to participate in in-class activities relating to various criminal law concepts.
This course is designed for international students interested in the German criminal law.
